|| How We Started ||

In late 1997, Manolet Dario, Ian Carless and Teddy Dario got together and oversaw the emergence of a new face in the world of local dance clubs and promoters, Natural Born Klubbers [NBK]. Our main aim is to bring dance music and club culture to a mainstream audience.

Through the years, NBK has brought in some of the best DJs and dance artists in the world: Sasha, John Digweed, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Dave Seaman, Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, Miguel Migs, Sister Bliss, BT, Timo Maas, Anthony Pappa, among others.

In the last few years, NBK has focused its attention on local DJs, who play in at least 4 events weekly at such hip venues as Embassy, Teak, Mezze, and Jill's, thus transforming these restaurants and bars into one of Manila's hottest nightspots. The almost 200 events that NBK promotes and supports annually has ensured the success and longevity of the local club scene.

And with the unprecedented success of DJ's, dance events, retro/disco music and the club scene, there's no doubt that dance music in whatever genre, will continue its march at the forefront of youth and pop culture in the years to come.
